I am an American and I did not hear about this. You are right that people need to get to work and also have food. I’m sorry that did not happen. Do you think anything good happened because of the US Troops conducting their mission there? Did you get to meet and visit with an American troops?

hi, i am from scotland and met my darling man from iraq by accident through a friend,although we have never met,we email,write,txt and call each other everyday,.he is the most kindest,thoughtful,loving man i could ever hopr to meet in my lifetime,i know alot of people will object to our relationship,but why should that be so,we are very much in love and are so desperate to be together.with all the trouble of the world today,our communication with each other helps my man to face every day in distressing world,i love him and i pray to god to keep him and all his people safe,forever

great roundup; its good to see there is still activity in the blogosphere despite many people beginning to lose interest in whats going on in Iraq. I am looking forward to seeing what “change” people are sensing; perhaps there will be some new kind of governmental changes; that would be at very least an interesting shake-up…

brilliant logic displayed here eni; though it’s sad to think you may not live to see your country rebuilt to a place worth being proud of once more, and I - though i don’t want to - accept the reasons for feeling that way.

Things seem to go from bad to worse to worst before even starting the real down-hill slide for Iraq through out your lifetime. But I have said it and I say it again, history repeats itself and Iraq will be rebuilt, though it may take years, decades, half or even full centuries to recover from where it is now- all places recover eventually and Iraq in particular is extremely resillient to destruction. Many times over Iraq has been raised to nothing, its people defeated and oppressed only to rebuild and come back to prosperity before the process repeats.

With any luck the next rebuild could be the last for many centuries to come; there is no need for senseless world anymore and I think global warming will pre-occupy most of the nations capable of launching international warfare in the forseeable near-to-distant future

ahahaha great way to finish the post, with “keep on cursing tita!!!”- though I should not laugh, there is nothing laughable in this story. It’s very sad and I hope for the sake of all involved it ends in a pleasant way. I also hope the Iraqi’s can find their pride and create such a list some time soon!

Hi! Loved the comments directed toward the nut Paul Edwards that you posted late last year. What is with that guy? We’ve had a debate on his blog lately as to whether he is for real. I still have some doubts, especially that he would really believe the forty year old universe activated somehow by computer from “virtual reality” thing. When I talk about it, I must ask myself why I waste time on his blog at all.

It’s possible that no-one will get to read this, as the article itself is now quite old, but I’d like to tell you that you can easily convert an English-only keyboard to type in Arabic by following this link. Please make use of it - I would hate to think that a technological hitch was preventing you from word-processing in your own language.

The Arabic language is one of the wonders of the world.
